High Performance with Gorgeous Cabinet
The HP204 boasts an elegant European cabinet with front legs and a unique speaker system (identical to HP207e). The 88-key multi-sampled piano sound, PHA II keyboard with Escapement, and Continuous Pedal feature combine to make the HP204 a top new-generation digital piano. The cabinet is available in a Rosewood finish or a Light Oak finish.

The HP204 features Roland’s finest 88-key piano sound, featuring true-to-life piano resonance and individual multi-samples for every key. It’s touch responsive to the subtlest pressure and nuance — from the deepest, most powerful bass to the most delicate highs.
Progressive Hammer Action II
The HP204 is equipped with an authentic-feeling PHA II Keyboard. This next-generation keyboard features a redesigned progressive hammer-action mechanism for a natural touch response from pianissimo to fortissimo. In addition, Roland’s acclaimed Escapement “key click” feature comes standard on the HP204.
Omni directional Sound System
Unlike traditional direct-emitting loudspeakers, the HP204 employs a unique audio system that allows diffused Omni directional sound emission. The player and the listener perceive the sound just as they would from a real acoustic grand. Volume issues are a thing of the past; you can simply adjust the volume of the internal sound system up or down to suit the environment.
File Playback via USB
The HP204 can play songs by itself* — an ideal for parties and gatherings. Simply import a Standard MIDI File via USB and enjoy as the keyboard plays the music automatically. Whether in a lounge or living room, hotel or concert hall, the HP204 will bring any environment to life. WAV files can be played via USB as well.
CD Connection
More than just a great piano, the HP204 can also play back audio CDs from an optional USB-CD drive (Call Keysound 0116 2541053 for more details) for play-along fun. There’s even a Center Cancel feature for minimizing pre-recorded vocals so you can sing along with your favourite songs as if you were in the band.
