Roland’s unique “Score Display”

You can choose to display the staff along with the note name, finger number*2,
chord name*3, or lyrics. Or, you can display the right-hand part or left-hand part only. An even larger score can be shown when the instrument is connected to an external display.
*1 DigiScore can be used with any of the onboard preset songs, and with SMF data. In order to improve readability, DigiScore notation may differ slightly from standard sheet music. DigiScore cannot display notes smaller than sixteenths, or display grace notes

“Touch the Notes”
With the remarkable “Touch the Notes” function, just touch any note on the DigiScore touch- screen, and the instrument will play that note. Drag your finger over a phrase or series of notes to high- light them, and the key- board plays back the phrase immediately, let- ting you check the notes both visually and aurally.
“Replay” pedal
Press the left pedal during playback, and the music stops. Release the pedal, and playback resumes from the start of that measure, so you can try that phrase again. Pressing the pedal repeatedly rewinds playback one mea- sure at a time. You never need to take your hands off the keyboard, so you can stay focused on your lessons.
Using “Touch the Notes” and “Replay” together is a great way to practice. With the “Replay” pedal pressed, use the “Touch the Notes” function to listen to and check the sound of the note or phrase you missed. It’s an effective way to make practicing more fun—and make your piano playing richer than ever.
“Select/Listen to a Song”
There are over 170 onboard preset songs — from classic to popular — built into the KR-17M, KR-15M and KR-15. The scores for all songs appear right on the screen. easy-to-use auto-accompaniment features. You just play simple chords with your left hand, and the accompaniment automatically follows your lead on the melody, in your choice of several music genres. Your performance becomes much more exciting and entertaining. The “Music Assistant” is ideal too. Its intuitive, auto-accompaniment setup feature will choose a music style, tone, tempo etc. that best suits the song you want to play. “Select Various Tones” for an exciting performance The KR-17M, KR-15M and KR-15 put over 600
instrument sounds at your fingertips, grouped into easily- selectable categories: piano, organ, violin, guitar, saxophone, drums, and others. The expressive “Touch EX” tones deliver tonal variations when you hit the keys at different strengths. “Pedal EX” tones change the sound and expression when you press down the pedal.
