We are now seeing a rapid growth in imports from China with names that seem familiar but are made up for one consignment. Some look attractive in their highly polished baby grand cabinets and some seem to offer a high specification for a low price. Don’t be fooled, many of these so called pianos are totally unplayable with terrible key actions and inexpressive piano sounds. Spare parts for these units are often unobtainable even during their guarantee period.
