Built-in lesson functions can help you practise the left and right-hand parts of the internal songs, while the Dictionary function helps with learning and identifying chords. The keyboard also includes a large backlit LCD display for viewing voices, styles, songs and other settings.

A dedicated Portable Grand function quickly recalls a piano sound, while the DJ feature provides additional contemporary sounds and patterns. A pitch bend wheel allows notes to be bent expressively, making the PSR-GX76 particularly useful for guitar, brass and synthesizer voices.

The PSR-GX76 also includes built-in Reverb, DSP and Harmony effects, together with transpose and tuning controls. Five user songs can be recorded using the onboard song recorder, making it possible to capture your own performances and arrangements directly on the keyboard.

Connectivity includes MIDI IN and OUT for communication with compatible MIDI equipment, a sustain pedal connection and a combined headphones/output socket. The built-in stereo speaker system consists of two 12 cm speakers and two 3 cm speakers, powered by a 3W + 3W amplifier.
