Casio PX-S1000 awarded prestigious Red Dot Award 2020
For many people the first things that spring to mind when the name Casio is mentioned are Calculators and Watches. Of course, Casio have been very active in these products for many many years.

Fewer people however associate the name Casio with fine musical instruments. But in recent years they have produced some incredibly good Piano and Keyboard products which have become highly respected within the music industry.

One of how top selling Pianos at Keysound in recent times is the Casio PXS 1000 available in 3 stunning high gloss finishes and we are pleased that this Piano has received the recognition it truly deserves.

Here is a section of a recent press release:

Casio Music UK, one of the world's most renowned producers of musical instruments, is pleased to announce that its PX-S1000, from the Privia range – the world's slimmest digital pianos with an 88 weighted key hammer action – has been awarded a Red Dot Award 2020 in the Product Design discipline…

The recognition comes just weeks after the PX-S1000 was awarded an iF DESIGN AWARD 2020. Taking its cue from the slogan "Slim. Stylish. Smart.", the PX-S1000 is an extremely compact digital piano with authentic hammer action and Smart technology.
Featuring a newly developed Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard, the PX-S1000 offers the player a natural piano touch with a touch panel interface that is both stylish and modern. It boasts a Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR sound source, ensuring a stunningly accurate piano sound-field and what's more, it offers Bluetooth audio reproduction – some of the most cutting-edge features to date.

Neil Evans, Head of Casio EMI, commented: "Everyone at Casio should be incredibly proud of this achievement. We've worked extremely hard to create a digital piano that can be played and enjoyed in a variety of spaces. What's more, it's slim, stylish, and doesn't disappoint with a beautiful sound. We're delighted with the recognition and will continue to be committed to developing industry-leading, innovative digital pianos."

The Red Dot Award has a history of over 60 years and is one of the top three design awards in the world. It was established in 1955 by the German design institution, Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. This year, the PX-S1000 was selected from among more than 6,500 entries from all over the world, including automobiles, home appliances, household goods, and buildings.
The multiple award-winning PX-S1000 digital piano is available at select music stores nationwide. To find out more information please click the following links
